CoreCare delivers support where people already live — so our service area is simply how far a Direct Support Professional can reliably travel to reach you.
CoreCare is based in Williamsburg, Virginia, and that is the center of our coverage. We regularly provide services throughout the Historic Triangle and the surrounding communities:
We also support individuals in the wider Hampton Roads region. Because coverage depends on staffing and travel time rather than on a fixed boundary line, the honest answer for anywhere outside the three areas above is: ask us. We would rather tell you plainly whether we can serve your address than have you assume either way.
There is no center to travel to. A Direct Support Professional comes to the individual's own home and into their own community, which is the whole point of in-home support.
Visit times follow the individual's Individual Support Plan and the routine that already works for the household, rather than a fixed timetable set by us.
Before services begin we confirm that we can consistently staff the schedule at your address. We would rather decline than accept a referral we cannot cover reliably.
The same services are available throughout our coverage area: In-Home Support and Independent Living. If you are working out how these are funded, our guide to Virginia's DD Waivers explains how the three waivers fit together.
Support Coordinators and case managers placing someone in this region can go straight to our referral pathway.
Because support is delivered in the home, travel time is a real constraint on what we can promise. It shapes how early a morning visit can start, how late an evening one can run, and how quickly we can cover an unplanned gap.
It also means our coverage follows our staffing rather than a boundary drawn in advance. As the team grows the area we can reliably serve grows with it, so an answer of "not at the moment" is worth asking about again later.
Tell us where you are and we will give you a straight answer.
