CoreCare supports teenagers, adults and older adults with developmental disabilities across Virginia. Some live with family. Some live in a place of their own and want to keep it that way. Some are preparing for a move toward greater independence and need someone steady alongside them while they build the skills for it.
What they have in common is not a diagnosis — it is a practical need for the right amount of support, in the right places, from someone who knows them. That might mean help with daily routines and personal care, getting to appointments and community activities, cooking and managing a household, or simply having a dependable person present so that living independently stays safe.

We do not ask anyone to describe themselves by diagnosis in order to work with us. What matters for planning is what a person can already do, what they want to be able to do, and where the gap between those two needs another person alongside them.

Explore In-Home SupportCoreCare works directly with Support Coordinators and case managers on behalf of the individuals they serve — exploring In-Home Support or Independent Living options together, with clear, professional communication.
